Bollywood actor Aamir Khan married his longtime partner Gauri Spratt in an intimate ceremony held at his Mumbai residence on Sunday, attended by close family members and friends from the film industry.
Despite heavy rainfall in the city, the wedding celebrations went ahead as planned, with several prominent guests in attendance, including filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker, comedian-actor Vir Das, cricketer Irfan Pathan, politician Raj Thackeray, lyricist Prasoon Joshi, filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani, and businessman Mukesh Ambani.
A photo shared by the actor’s team showed Aamir signing the marriage documents while Gauri sat beside him. The couple was surrounded by family members, including their children from previous relationships.
Gauri’s son was seen sitting between the couple, while Aamir’s son Azad Rao Khan, from his marriage to filmmaker Kiran Rao, was also present during the ceremony.
The wedding was a simple, close-knit affair. In a video shared by Irfan Pathan, the couple was seen exchanging vows in front of loved ones, with Aamir’s children Junaid and Ira Khan applauding as he formally declared Gauri as his “lawfully wedded wife.”
The emotional moment was followed by celebrations, where Aamir was seen dancing with Gauri to music played at the venue, while guests cheered and joined in the festivities.
Pathan later shared a congratulatory message on social media, wishing the couple happiness and blessings for their new journey together.
This marks Aamir Khan’s third marriage. He was previously married to film producer Reena Dutta from 1986 to 2002, with whom he has two children, Junaid and Ira.
He later married filmmaker Kiran Rao in 2005, and the couple welcomed their son Azad before separating in 2021. Despite their divorce, Aamir and Kiran continue to co-parent their son and maintain a cordial relationship.
Gauri Spratt, who works in the beauty and wellness industry and is based in Bengaluru, also has a son from a previous marriage.
Aamir had publicly introduced Gauri in 2025 during his 60th birthday celebrations, revealing that the two had been in a relationship for over a year at that time.
The ceremony reflected a warm blending of families, with children from both sides actively participating in the rituals.
Guests described the event as simple yet emotional, focusing on togetherness rather than grandeur.
