Aishwariya Malang of Khliehiongriang, Jowai, is all set to represent Meghalaya at the grand finale of Miss Teen Diva 2026, which will be held in Jaipur from July 11 to July 19.
Addressing a press conference at the Shillong Press Club, the young pageant contestant described her selection for the national competition as a dream come true and an opportunity to showcase the talent, confidence and potential of Meghalaya on a larger stage.
She credited her parents for playing a crucial role in her journey, saying their constant support and encouragement gave her the confidence to pursue her passion for pageantry. She recalled that she was initially hesitant to participate in beauty contests but eventually decided to take the leap after receiving strong support from her family.
Malang said her participation in various pageants over the years has helped her develop confidence, improve her personality and strengthen her stage presence. According to her, every competition provided valuable lessons and experiences that contributed to her growth and prepared her for higher levels of competition.
