Shillong, July 12: The Dream Elite Pre-Season Summer Basketball Camp 2026 concluded successfully at Pearly Dew School, Jaiaw, on Saturday, with over 100 young basketball players from Shillong and neighbouring areas participating in the two-week programme.
Organised by DREAM in collaboration with Dubakh Sports Pvt. Ltd. and supported by the Department of Social Welfare, Government of Meghalaya, the camp culminated with championship finals in five categories.
All participants received certificates, official camp T-shirts and lunch during the closing ceremony. The vote of thanks was delivered by Dubakh Sports Pvt. Ltd. Managing Director Ethan Alrico Ryntathiang, who acknowledged the support of DREAM, the Department of Social Welfare, Pearly Dew School, coaches, volunteers and parents.
Beyond basketball training, the camp focused on developing discipline, leadership, teamwork, healthy lifestyles and awareness against substance abuse, reinforcing the organisers’ shared commitment to nurturing young talent through sport.
