JMB’s grenades recovered in Assam

Guwahati:At least 10 grenades, brought into the state by JMB operatives, were recovered by security agencies from Palbari village, under Patacharkuchi police station, in Assam’s Barpeta district on Sunday.

A team of NIA recovered the grenades during a search operation, carried out on basis on information revealed by Nurjamal Haque, a JMB operative arrested on Friday.

Haque had revealed that grenades and IEDs have been brought into Assam from West Bengal by the JMB to carry out subver-sive activities here. (UNI)
