Run Meghalaya team to take part in Kolkata 25K event

SHILLONG: Eight runners from Shillong will be participating in the first Tata Steel 25K organized by Programme running in Kolkata. The run will take place on December 28 and the route will pass through many sights in Kolkata’s old and historic center.
Founder of Run Meghalaya Gerald Pde, who has participated in  many marathon race in India and abroad will also be running. Run Meghalaya looks forward to the coming year with events planned for Bengaluru, Delhi and Mumbai and hopes that more runners from state can take part in national events and further the sport of long distance running in the State. The participants from city are Badon Sing Tham, Frank Cooper Rapsang, Phit Nonglang, Pynshngainlang Dkhar,  Manbha Ramsiej, Darishisha Iangjuh, Bankyrshanlang Khongsni.
