Jihadi taken to Kolkata in Burdwan case

Guwahati: Jihadi Saha-nur Alom was taken by a NIA team from Guwahati to Kolkata for questioning in the Burdwan blasts case.

A special team of NIA took Alom to Kolkata on a train this afternoon and he is scheduled to be produced before the NIA court there on Saturday.

Wanted in the Burdwan blasts case by the NIA, Alom was arrested from Nalbari district on Decem-ber 4 last and was currently in judicial custody after the expiry of his police remand. He hails from Barpeta district of Assam and his wife and brother have also been arrested for jihadi connections. (UNI)
