SHILLONG: Disparity in the original FIR and the FIR submitted to the inquiry commission probing the Shillong jailbreak was again detected on the second day of the hearing by the inquiry commission on Sunday. There was tampering in the original FIRs while the FIR submitted to the inquiry commission was a clean one. Meanwhile, Ummulong PS OC R Syngkon and Sadar PS OC K Prasad deposed before the commission on Sunday. Another glaring irregularity was detected on Sunday with Syngkon mentioning in his seizure list that the pistol recovered from the jailbreak mastermind Fullmoon Dhar was Chinese made, while the FSL report mentioned that it was US made. The next hearing of the inquiry commission would be held on September 26 and 27.
