Minor molested
On Janurary 1 at about 3 pm, one Dharik Nongrum pelted stones at the house of Kyrpadlang Nongkhlaw at Khrang village (EKH), abused and assaulted her. Later, one Iohber Kharumnuid molested her 13-year-old daughter.
Rape
A woman from Boiragipara village (SWGH) lodged a complaint at Ampati PS that on December 30 at around 1 pm, one Heroth Sangma raped her at the village (SWGH).
Threat
On December 29 at about 10 pm, one Biktorius Nongsiej went to the residence of Prishila Lyngdoh at Sohphoh village (EKH), damaged her belongings and also threatened her with dire consequences.
Theft
On Janurary 4 at around 1 pm, unknown miscreants stole one motorcycle (ML-05C-6178) from Police Bazar, Shillong.
Sengsrang M. Sangma lodged a complaint at Tura PS that on December 28 his employee Abdul stole one TV along with one Dish TV Set-up Box from his Hotel at Chandmari, Tura (WGH).
On Janurary 2 around 7.30 pm, one Pus Pdahkasiej and others of Mawlongbna village comitted theft at the garden of Dikstarlan Hujon at Thyllaw village (EKH).
Juveniles arrested
Baksingh Kharkongor lodged a complaint at Laitumkhrah PS that on Janurary 3 at about 3 pm, he apprehended three juveniles while they were stealing a car tape from one vehicle (ML-05J-3013) at Laitumkhrah. However, one of their accomplices managed to escape. Police arrested the juveniles.
Accident
On Janurary 3 at around 12.45 pm, an accident took place between one Maruti local taxi (number not known) and one auto-rickshaw (ML-05G-1582) at Mylliem (EKH). As a result, two occupants sustained injuries and were shifted to Civil Hospital Shillong.
Labourers looted
Narcylina M. Marak lodged a complaint at Tura PS that on Janurary 2 morning, three unidentified miscreants armed with daggers looted Rs. 2,000 from two labourers, Md. Ali Sheikh and Mishtar Sheikh, who were working in her house at Danak Samguri, Tura (WGH).
On Janurary 2 midnight, three persons, Irisful Khardewsaw, Steland Iawphniaw and Shanborlin Marwein armed with daggers went to the house of Stralding Lyngkhoi (45) at Mawkawah village (WKH) and robbed Rs. 5,800 cell phone etc., from him. Police arrested the accused.
Assault
Markos Jeengaph of Thyllaw village lodged a complaint at Mawsynram PS that on January 2 at about 4 pm, residents (30/35) of Mawlongbna village (EKH) led by one Ass Bisiar took him to a forest near the village and assaulted him.
On Janurary 2 at about 3 pm, three unidentified miscreants assaulted Chingrek W. Momin at Chandmari field, Tura (WGH).
