Nagaland CM asks Guv for special session

Kohima: Nagaland Chief Minister T. R. Zeliang has requested Governor Padmanabha Acharya to summon a special session of the Nagaland Assembly where he can prove that he is still enjoying majority in the floor of the House.
The CM’s Office said Zeliang along with NPF president Dr Shurhozelie and NPF Secretary General K G Kenye called on the Governer on Friday and requested him to summon a special session of the Nagaland Assembly so that the Chief Minister could move a confidence motion on the floor of the house to prove that he enjoyed majority and support in the House.
Zeliang has handed over the request in the form of a letter addressed to the Governor. (UNI)
