NONGPOH: The office of the Deputy Commissioner Ri Bhoi in collaboration with the office of the district SPand the ILFS Pvt. Ltd observed the Road Safety Week here on Wednesday. To mark the occasion, a rally was organised from DC’s office to Nongpoh town.
The rally was flagged off by Ri Bhoi SP, CVS Reddy in the presence of ILFS assistant vice president Aalok Anandmani.
Speaking to this scribe, Reddy said that the district administration along with the police and ILFS conducted the rally under the theme “Safety is not just a slogan but a way of life” in order to spread road safety awareness among the people.
