Signature campaign
The Taxi and Auto Rickshaw Drivers’ Association of Nongpoh participated in a signature campaign for safe driving during the 26th Road Safety Week held on Friday. The event was organized by the Ri Bhoi District Police in collaboration with GVK EMRI – Meghalaya Operations. Ri Bhoi DSP, R. Pde interacted with the drivers on the occasion and also briefed them on the importance of safe driving especially on the four-lane.
Industrial exhibition
The Deputy Commissioner, East Jaintia Hills District, WR Lyngdoh inaugurated the 2nd District Level Industrial Exhibition in Khliehriat on Friday. The event which was held at the Khliehriat community hall was organized by the District Commerce and Industries Centre, East Jaintia Hills.
Reunion
A reunion will be held for the Alumni who joined Assam Medical College in 1964 in Pre medical class and 1st year in 1965 from February 21-22 at Pobitara Wildlife Sanctuary.
