SHILLONG: The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) on Tuesday organized the Con Mac-2015 road show in Shillong which was attended by contractors and government officials.
The event was organized with an aim to provide a platform for the construction equipment industry where small and medium contractors were invited to physically verify new construction equipments.
Vice chairman and managing director, Schwing Stetter India Private Limited, Anand Sundaresan said that they visited Shillong since they wanted the contractors of Shillong to see the sophisticated equipments that make construction jobs easier.
Senior Sales Engineer Sailen Das said that the modern equipments were being used in the construction of the Shillong-Nongstoin road and had been earlier used in the construction of the Shillong Bypass.
