Police caution people to be alert against fraud TV ads

SHILLONG: East Khasi Hills Police has issued an advisory informing that they have received complaints of people being cheated through TV advertisements from unreliable channels offering prizes in the form of cash or car for identifying certain celebrity stars and sending the replies through SMS.
