SHILLONG: Royal CC defeated Pinewood Youth by 6 wickets in the league match of the First Division Shillong Cricket League 2015 organised by the Shillong Cricket Association.
Electing to bat after winning the toss Pinewood Youth were all out after scoring the lowest runs in the tournament 46 runs in 19.2 overs.
Deep Chandra scored 20 runs of 40 balls. Rajib Rai and Sandeep Tati bagged 3 wickets each for 10 runs and 15 runs respectively. In reply, Royal CC reached the target 50 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 9.2 overs.
