Club launches its official anthem Dare to Dream

SHILLONG: Royal Wahingdoh FC have signed two defenders Govin Singh and Naoba Singh on Wednesday to strengthen their backline ahead of the crucial home Hero I-League match against Bengaluru FC on Saturday.
Club owner Dominic Sutnga formally handed over the team jerseys to the two defenders who played for ISL club Delhi Dynamos during a press conference here on Wednesday.
On the occasion, the Royals also launched the team anthem Dare to Dream which according to the Club is a tribute by the Wahingdoh faithful to the undying efforts of the club to bring back and revive the tradition of football in the state. The anthem has been composed by Daman Synkon.
Debutants Wahingdoh are on high after winning all three of their matches so far and are aiming to stamp their authority upon defending champions and winners of the recently concluded Federation Cup, Bengaluru FC on Saturday.
Sutnga believes that the tie against Bengaluru would be the first real test of the season for Wahingdoh who have already established themselves as a team ready to compete with the best at the highest level in Indian football.
The Club owner said that Gobin and Naoba were roped in to strengthen the defense line of Wahingdoh whose strikers and midfielders have delivered for the side in all the games played so far.
The Club also urged the local fans to come out in large numbers and support its cause against the famed opponents on Saturday.
Meanwhile, both Naoba and Gobin were excited with their new project and expressed confidence of doing well in Wahingdoh colours.
