SHILLONG:Newspaper vendors under the banner Meghalaya Newspaper Hawkers and Vendors Association have decided not to sell the national paper The Telegraph from September 9 over commission row.

In a statement issued here on Wednesday, MNHVA general secretary EK Sohshang has strictly warned the hawkers to stick to the decision till further notification.

However, sources informed that the reason behind their decision was to press The Telegraph management to increase their commission citing it too low as compared to other national papers.
