Novel by Khasi author released at Kolkata Book Fair

SHILLONG: An English novel by Khasi author KK Kharlukhi was released at the Kolkata Book Fair by Dr. Ram Kumar Mukopadhyay, an eminent scholar from West Bengal on February 3. The novel, ‘Tears of the Nymphs’, published by Lifi Publications, New Delhi is expected to hit the stands in Shillong soon.Speaking at the function, the author narrated the unique features of his work and expressed happiness that his novel was released at the prestigious Kolkata Book Fair.
‘Tears of the Nymphs’ is a story based on the beliefs of the Khasi people on the nymphs or puris.
The novel is a fast-paced narrative of interwoven events and sequences that cruises through intrigues, dealing with sacrifice, death and redemption.
