TURA: Following the arrest of their Rongjeng general secretary for being the leader of the Garo militant outfit AMEF, the FKJGP has said that it is ‘impeaching’ him even as it criticised militant groups for using NGO leaders for their benefits.
“We condemn our general secretary Simseng G Momin for having links with AMEF and we also condemn the militant outfit for using our member. We held a meeting today in Rongjeng and impeached him. We would also like to request all armed organizations to stop using NGO leaders for their benefit,” stated the FKJGP release from Rongjeng.
