Tendulkar confident Indian team will do well in WC

Chennai:  Legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar on Tuesday expressed confidence that the Indian team will give their best and do something special for the countrymen to smile in the cricket World Cup beginning on Saturday.
Inaugurating a newly built air conditioned indoor stadium at Sai Ram institute of Technology at Tambaram near here Tendulkar said, “Our team is in Australia, it’s gonna be a challenging tournament but our team is used to challenges.”
“They will rise to the occasion and with your support and prayers they will go out and give their best and make us smile again,” he said.
“I have full confidence and faith in our team. That they will go out and do something special which will give us a reason to smile. I wanna wish them all the very best,” he added. (PTI)
