No power cut during WC matches

SHILLONG: There is a good news for cricket lovers.
During the ICC World Cup, which is starting on Saturday, there will be no power cut in the State.
This assurance has come from non other than the power minister of Meghalaya Clement Marak.
“We are quite equipped now and we are sure that there won’ t be any power cut during the World Cup,” Marak said on Friday.
Meanwhile sources said that India-Pakistan match, to be played on Sunday, will be beamed live at Bijou Cinema Hall from 8 am.
