New Delhi: Congress on Tuesday saw “striking similarities” in AAP and BJP’s style of governance after Arvind Kejriwal’s government in Delhi banned media from the state secretariat on its first working day.
“Striking Similarities- AAP&BJP’s Governance style. PM as Gujrat CM banned Media from Gujarat Secretariat. AAP in both it’s stints emulates him”, party leader Manish Tewari tweeted.
Media was not allowed entry into the Delhi Secretariat Monday, which was the first working day of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government. Journalists from both print and electronic media were denied entry. “We have orders from senior government officials not to let mediapersons enter the premises,” a security person had said.
Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh had recently sought to gave a new twist to the AAP victory in Delhi by tweeting that “Kejriwal is a part of the overall plan of RSS for a Congress Mukt Bharat.I know I would be abused by both RSS and Kejriwal fans.” “When I said RSS was behind Anna Movement, no one believed me I was called Mad. But ultimately I was proved right & I would be this time too,” Singh had said. (PTI)
