Rape attempt
On February 19, one juvenile (14) attempted to rape a 10-year-old girl at Mawiongrim, Shillong.
Accident
On February 19 at around 10.20 pm, one truck (AS-01R-8183) collided with one Tata Mobile vehicle (AS-01-AC-9234) driven by Ashok Nath at Shillong By-pass, Nongtraw (RB). As a result, driver of Tata Mobile vehicle sustained injuries and was removed to Civil Hospital Shillong.
On February 16 at about 11.30 pm, one Tata Magic vehicle (ML-08C-9106) driven by S. Mahanta (24 yrs) capsized at Balughat village (SWGH). As a result, the driver and fifteen occupants including minors sustained injuries.
Theft
Kali Prasad, Headmaster, Mangsang Secondary School lodged a complaint (February 18) at Rongjeng PS that unknown miscreants broke into the school building and stole two computer sets.
Assault
Champa Toi lodged a complaint at Laitumkhrah PS that on February 18 at around 9.45 pm, one Pallas Toi assaulted her 11-year-old son Zephaniali Toi and threatened her family members with dire consequences at Holy Ground Road, Laitumkhrah, Shillong.
