JOWAI: A conglomerate of the Dorbar Shnong in Jaintia Hills has decided to appeal the High Court of Meghalaya to reconsider its order against the headmen.
“We are in the process of filing the appeal in a day or two,” former legislator and vice chairman of the Dorbar ki Rangbah Shnong Ri Jaintia, Singh Mulieh, informed on Monday.
Sources informed that the Ka Synjuk ki Rangbah Shnong Ri Jaintia is also expected to meet on Tuesday at the District Library Auditorium, Jowai, to deliberate on the issue.
