DGP’s Garo Hills visit

SHILLONG: Meghalaya DGP Rajiv Mehta is visiting Garo Hills from Monday to take stock of the situation there. The police chief, to be accompanied by GHP Raju, IGP, will stay in Garo Hills for two days.    It may be mentioned that after assuming charge the DGP had convened a meeting of all the SPs in Shillong on Friday to discuss the prevailing law and order situation in the state.
