A woman lodged a complaint that on February 24 around 6.30 pm, one Silgrak Ch Marak attempted to rape her in her house at Lower Kongbe Ading, Tura (WGH), and also assaulted and threatened her with dire consequences.

Tenderfull Nongrum lodged a complaint that on February 20 he had received an anonymous phone call in which the caller demanded Rs.7 lakh from him.
Photos taken without permission
A woman lodged a complaint at Lumdiengjri PS that one unidentified male who claimed to be working at KHADC took photograph of her and her shop at Bara Bazar, Shillong.
Theft
Md. Zirfan Amman of Reliance Retail Ltd. (Digital), Police Bazar, Shillong lodged a complaint at Shillong Sadar PS that one security guard Ravi Nath had stole several mobile handsets valued around Rs. 2,62,849 from the retail outlet.
On February 25 around 10 pm, unknown miscreants stole one motorcycle (number not known) belonging to Lionas Kharpuri from Nongkseh Block-II, Upper Shillong.
Sadasivan Prashant lodged a complaint that on Jan 31, one Surojit Das stole his cell-phone from Hqr. EAC, Upper Shillong. On February 26, the stolen cell-phone was recovered from the possession of the accused.

On February 28 around 12.30 pm, one Maruti Gypsy (AS-08-6294) driven by Suresh Behra knocked down Cynthia Lawryniang (7 years) at Lawryniang, Laitkor (EKH). Victim sustained injuries and was removed to Civil Hospital Shillong.
On March 1 around 8.30 pm, one unidentified vehicle knocked down Biswanath Hajong (26) at Demseiniong, Shillong. Victim sustained injuries and was removed to Civil Hospital Shillong.
Labourers assaulted
Narayan Singhania lodged a complaint that on March 1 around 10.50 pm, unidentified miscreants assaulted twelve labourers engaged by him at Mawiongrim, Shillong. Victims sustained injuries and were shifted to Civil Hospital Shillong.
Unidentified body found
On February 27, one unidentified male body (28) was recovered from near Anjalee Cinema Hall, Shillong. Necessary formalities were observed and matter is under enquiry.
