Annual celebration
The Annual Celebration of Ramakrishna Mission, Shillong, will be held from April 3-5 from 3 pm onwards at the Mission’s Laitumkhrah premises. Artists from different parts of the country will perform on the occasion. The programme will be presided by Swami Bodhasarananda, assistant secretary, Ramakrishna Math and Mission, Belur Math.
Bihu mela
Shillong Assamese Ladies Welfare Club will organise a Bihu Mela on April 4 from 10-30 am to 6 pm at Assam Club Shillong. Main attractions in the mela would be Assamese snacks, food, gamosa, mekhela chadar among others. Local M.L.A Sanbor Shullai will inaugurate the programme.
Baisakhi celebration
The Khalsa Sports and Cultural Association will organize a Baisakhi celebration programme on April 11 at State Central Library from 10 am. Home Minister Roshan Warjri will be the chief guest on the occasion.
