A motorist and the pillion rider sustained injuries when the motorbike (ML05K – 9358) they were travelling on collided into a Maruti Alto 800 (AS01BJ – 4025) coming from the opposite direction at Mawlai Mawiong on April 5. The injured were shifted to NEIGRIHMS.

A Shillong bound vehicle (Maruti 800, MLO5D– 5447) coming from Hatmawdon, drove off to the side of the road when the driver lost control of the vehicle, while maneuvering a bend. The incident occured at Mawjymbuin under Mawsynram Block, East Khasi Hills on April 5.
