Health camp
In view of World Health Day, GVK EMRI – Meghalaya operations in collaboration with the DMHO office of West Khasi Hills organized a one-day health camp for the students of Pariong Presbytery Higher Secondary School in West Khasi Hills on April 9. The event was supported by the medical staff of Pariong PHC. More than 200 students along with the staff attended the health camp.

AYUSH department will celebrate World Homeopathic Day on April 10 at 10.30 am at Shillong Civil Hospital.
International Day for Street Children
Reach Shillong Ministries will observe the International Day for street Children on April 11 at Anton Hall, Don Bosco. A bike rally, concert for the street children, signature campaign will also be organized on the occasion.
Ghazal evening
The Rotary Club of Orchid City, Shillong with the support Directorate of Arts and Culture and the State Bank of India will organize a ghazal evening on April 11 from 7 pm onwards at Hotel Pinewood to raise funds for the Good Shephard Dispensary, Jongksha village.

The District Legal Services Authority, West Jaintia Hills will hold a Lok Adalat for labour cases and family matters in Room No. 106 of Deputy Commissioner’s Office, Jowai on 11 April.
