Postcard campaign
The Meghalaya Pradesh Youth Congress launched the “Kisaan Satyagraha” postcard campaign at Congress Bhawan, Tura on Monday in protest against the Land Acquisition Ordinance passed by the BJP Government.  Each postcard is addressed to the President of India. All the collected Post cards will be taken to the President of India under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi who will march to the Rashtrapati Bhawan along with farmers from across the country to hand over the cards.
MPYC Facebook page launched
The official Facebook page of the Meghalaya Pradesh Youth Congress was launched by Kulert Ch Momin, former Minister and West Garo Hills DCC Wokring President at Congress Bhawan, Tura on Monday. The Facebook page was launched to better connect with the youth of the region.
Career guidance programme
The Event Management Alumni Club (EMAC) along with KSU Pynursla Unit will organize a seminar on career guidance-cum-awareness programme for students awaiting their Class XII examination results at E Usai Memorial Hall, Pynursla on April 18 at 10 am.
Office bearers
The Rabindranath Tagore Club elected new office bearers for 2014-15 with Pankaj Deb being named as the president of the club and Akshay Deb Nath the secretary besides others. The Club will also organise the 8th Inter-Shillong cultural meet during June-July.
