Manisha Koirala thanks Indian Govt for Nepal relief help

Nepal-born     Bollywood     actress Manisha Koirala has thanked the Indian government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for their swift response to the devastating earthquake in her native country.
A powerful earthquake, measuring 7.9 on Richter scale, flattened houses and buildings in Nepal yesterday, killing nearly 1911 people so far.
The earthquake with epicentre at Lamjung, around 80 kms northwest of Kathmandu, had its impact in several cities in Bihar, West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh as tremors were felt across vast stretches of east and northeast India. India was the first to respond to the Nepal crisis.
Manisha, whose grandfather Bishweshwar Prasad Koirala was a former Prime Minister of Nepal, said the country cannot thank India enough for their relief efforts.
“I have been glued to TV n can’t help but tears roll down after seeing all this… my heartfelt thanks to Indian gov help.. in such times.. their quick and effective help will be forever be embedded in our memories.. Thank you Prime Minister Modi,” Manisha, 44,  posted on Facebook. (PTI)
