A mother and her daughter sustained injuries after lightning struck them at Kantolguri Village under Resubelpara Block, North Garo Hills District. Afilin Momin (44) and her daughter Panme Momin (23) were sleeping when the lightning struck them on September 13. The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based in Resubelpara helped in shifting the victims to Resubelpara CHC.
