Shillong:  A twin strike by foreign striker Owolesho Abey guided Laitumkhrah to an emphatic 3-1 win against Rangdajied United on Monday in  Shillong Premier League match at the JN Sports Complex.
Abey scored on both sides of the match with his first goal coming in the 37th minute before he followed it up with another in the 62nd minute.
The forward looked lethal up front as he caused trouble on numerous occasions to the Blues defence line. Veteran Bansharai Sunn reduced the Rangdajied’s deficit with a goal just before half time was called but they were unable to capitalise on the chances that came their way.
Laitumkhrah topped up their lead with a stoppage time goal by Rungsing Muinao to script a 3-1 win.
In a Second Division match, Ryntih smashed four goals past Umpling for a 4-2 result.
Meanwhile, Lama Villa beat Madanryting 1-0 in a Third Division match  while Umlyngka also stole a tight 1-0 win over Mawpat.
