Body of HM commander recovered in Kashmir

Srinagar: A bullet-riddled body of Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) commander, allegedly killed by breakaway group militants of Lashker-e-Islami (LeI), was recovered from a   paddy field in north Kashmir district of Baramulla on Saturday morning.
Panic gripped village Devbugh Kunzar area on Srinagar-Gulmarg road in Baramulla district when some people saw the body.
Police party was immediately rushed and the body was taken away for identification, they said.
The deceased was later identified as Fayaz Ahmad Bhat, a resident of Pattan and a commander of HM, source said.
A general strike was also observed on a separatist call on September 17 against these killings, who alleged that police was responsible for it.
Though police said three bullet-riddled bodies belonged to militants of Lashker-e-Islam (LeI), breakaway group of Hizbul Mujahideen (HM), responsible for attack on cellular companies and mobile towners in Baramulla district during the past four months in which two persons were killed and four others were wounded the HM claimed that all the three deceased militants belonged to the outfit.
