SHILLONG: VLCC Shillong will organise a model hunt titled “Look of the Year, North East” at NEHU Convention Hall on September 26.
The top three female models in the contest will represent the region in Femina Miss India Kolkata entry while the top three male models male models will qualify for a first of its kind fashion calendar shoot.
The event has been conceptualized by Bronx India, and is supported by the Department of Forest, Government of Meghalaya under the initiative “Go Green Save Green”.
Auditions for the event saw an overwhelming response with as many as 40 participants making the cut for the finale.
The event will be directed by Dassa, a noted Fashion Show Director from Mumbai and hosted by Vandana Vadehra.
“The event will also feature performances from rock bands and much more,” promised the organizers.
