SHILLONG: As part of the Durga Puja celebration Hathat Colony (Ashok Colony) Durga Puja Committee, 2015 will be organising the following Competitions: Dance Competition (Bengali Modern- Creative/Folk) from October 2- 4 from 5pm onwards, Drawing and Painting Competition on October 11 at 10:30 am, Recitation Competition on October 11 at 3:00pm (Bengali, English and Hindi), Go- As-You Like Competition on October 20 at 10:30 am, Musical Chair Competition on October 21 at 3:00 pm, Aarti Competition on October 22 at 7:30pm (Dress Code :- Boys : Dhoti and Girls : Saree), Didi No. 1 (Age : 18+ yrs) on October 18 from 5:00 pm onwards.
The Grand Finale will be held on October 19 from 7-30 P.M. onwards. Interested participants can collect the entry forms from, Laban Last Stop- Elco PCO, Hathat Colony- (L) Sunil Ghosh Sweet Shop, Oxford- Didi Pan shop near Maruti Workshop, Bishnupur- R.R. Enterprise and submit it on or before September 30, the entry fees for dance, drawing, painting, recitation, go-as–you-like, musical chair, aarti competition will be Rs. 30 while the entry fees for didi no.1 competition will be Rs 100.
