SHILLONG: Two persons allegedly attempted to bribe the Member Secretary of the District Selection Committee, West Garo Hills on August 30.
The incident happened when one Cyril A. Sangma along with one Lazarus M. Sangma went to the residence of Member Secretary, Z.I Sangma at Upper Wadanang, Tura and attempted to influence and bribe him to help Cyril get through the personal interview to be held on September 10 for the post of Gram Sevak.
