SHILLONG: On Wednesday at around 8.30 pm, a woman managed to have a narrow escape from some miscreants who attempted to rape her. The unidentified miscreants who were reportedly in a Maruti car (number unknown) abducted the woman from Garikhana Jeep Stand, Shillong and drove towards Damsite, Umiam (RB).
They allegedly snatched her money and also attempted to rape her. However, she managed to escape.
