Shillong: On the occasion of 146th Gandhi Jayanti, the Lions Club of Shillong in line with its moto “We serve” will be organizing a free congenital heart disorder (heart diseases from birth) awareness programme.
It will be a two days initiative by Lion’s club from October 1-2. The programme will include awareness, screening and consultation of CHD by Internationally renowned and reputed surgeon, Dr. K S Iyer (Pediatric and Congenital cardiac surgeon) and Pediatric Cardiologist, Dr. Sushil Azad from Fortis Escorts Heart Institute, New Delhi. The screening cum consultation camp will be held from 2- 4pm on October 1 and from 9am- 4pm on October 2 at Hope Clinic, near Pine Mount School.
