SHILLONG: On the occasion of World Tourism Day, on September 27, the office of India Tourism organised various competitions in Shillong and at Lyngkyrdem, in order to create tourism awareness amongst the students in particular and the people in general.
The headman and the secretary of Lyngkyrdem village shared a few words about the importance of tourism. Students from various schools participated in the event.
