Sale of fake HP products

SHILLONG: A complaint has been lodged with the police alleging the use of fake HP products by some shops in the city.
According to a complaint filed by Biplab Ghosh, Operation Manager, Enforcers of Instrumental Property Right, employees of M/s B.C Bros and M/s Wahlang Industries, Police Bazar and Rosh Philips, Laitumkhrah are processing and selling spurious HP products, using fake trademark and trade description of the original brand.
HP cartridges and HP ink-prints were also seized from the shops. It has been learnt that 16 fake HP cartridges and 10 empty HP cartridges were seized from Rosh Philips.
