Dual post PIL hearing deferred

SHILLONG: The Full Bench of the High Court of Meghalaya on Wednesday deferred the hearing on the PIL on dual post to October 27.
While N. Syngkon, counsel appeared for the petitioner, ND Chullai, senior government advocate assisted by Y. Shylla, government advocate , represented the respondents when the matter came up on Wednesday.
As per the Full Bench, on joint request, the matter was listed for October 27.
The adjournment of the hearing was also to allow the lawyers to take part in the funeral procession of senior advocate SC Shyam who passed away on Tuesday evening.
