SHILLONG: With an aim to rid students of the fear of Mathematics, the students of IIM-Shillong taught innovative methods of solving problems of Mensuration and Algebra to pupils of the three schools in the city. The interactive-session was part of IIM students’ teaching initiative called “Nurturing Minds” which was launched to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam. The initiative is based on Dr. Kalam’s love for teaching, with an objective to connect with local community and to give back to society. The classes started with a pool of 30 students from the three schools
