SHILLONG: In minor reshuffle in the state police department, Additional Director General of Police in charge Prisons and Training & Armed Police ( TAP) BL Buam has been appointed as the Member Secretary to Security Commission in addition to his current assignments.
Another police official R Awasthi, Additional Director of Police was transferred and posted as Director General , Civil Defence and Home Guards in the Higher Administrative Grade ( HAG ) scale of pay.
A notification issued by the Government on Wednesday said that these appointments were based on the recommendation of the State Civil Services Board and the General Review Committee in its meeting held last month.
