SHILLONG: An ASAK cadre, who was wanted in connection with the abduction and murder of a Mankachar resident, was arrested on Saturday by the police in West Garo Hills.
According to police, after continued operations against ASAK , the West Garo Hills police arrested one Limai A. Sangma, a resident of Oragitok, from Rongram area.
He was wanted in the kidnapping and murder case of Ismail Ali, son of Zeher Ali, resident of Jordanga, Mankachar whose body was found at Anotgre, Tura on September 3 this year .
Earlier in September, four members of ASAK were arrested in September in connection with the case.
