Sohra ATM lifters also involved in Mawlai theft

SHILLONG: Police have revealed that the four people arrested in Sohra last month for stealing Rs 20 lakh from an ATM had also looted Rs 21,28,000 from an ATM machine at Banalari Petrol Pump, Mawlai.
The four accused have been identified as Hanis Ali (27), Bipul Pal (21), Mukut Ali (26) and Sareswar Kakoti (40). The gang members were arrested by Sohra police last month after they lifted an ATM machine from the premises of M/S Morland Sootinck Service Station at Sohra.
