TURA: An awareness programme for self help groups was organized by Bakdil at Chisakgre Village recently in which SHG Coordinator of the organization, Eugene T Sangma graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
During the programme altogether 74 members from different self help groups of the area participated where they were taught about various activities that needed to be taken up to uplift their standard of living, reasons leading to non functioning of already formed SHGs, how SHGs can bring development to villages and how to obtain loans and the easiest way to repay them.
