Centre examining KHADC VAB

New DELHI: The Centre is examining the KHADC Village Administration Bill (VAB). Meghalaya Governor V Shanmuganathan forwarded the Bill to the Centre seeking its views.
Home Minister Roshan Warjri who called on both the Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and the Minister of State for Home Kiren Rijju here on Monday urged the duo to expedite the process of clearing the VAB.The Centre is going through the Bill passed by the State Assembly recently, Warjri was told.The VAB related to JHADC, however, is pending with the Governor.
