Govt officials, staff take national integration pledge

SHILLONG: Officials and employees of the State government came together to take the pledge for national integration to mark the Quami Ekta Week or the National Integration Week, at the Main Secretariat Building, here on Thursday.
Chief Secretary, P.B.O. Warjri, highlighted on the significance of the Week which is observed to uphold communal harmony and national integrity in commemoration of the birth anniversary of Late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
Later, he administered the pledge for national integration to those present on the occasion.
