SHILLONG: KHNAM general secretary Batkupar Wahlang has denied that one J.R. Rynniaw who had claimed to be the party’s Nongstoin Circle primary unit president, is associated with the party.
“We think it is the scheme of some parties who want to conspire against us. It is surprising that he should come out with a press release on the concluding day of the election campaign in support of the HSPDP,” the KHNAM leader said on Friday, while clarifying that KHNAM Nongstoin Circle did not have any president but was being looked after by W.D. Marngar and S.P. Kharjana who are the party conveners.
He said that it was a matter of concern as it was an attempt to tarnish the image of the KHNAM.
