SHILLONG: A lady died on the spot and three others sustained injuries in a road accident when a Maruti Alto (ML05J – 0985) they were travelling in hit a moving truck from behind. The incident took place at Umdoh Byrthi under Umsning Block, Ri Bhoi District on Saturday early morning.
The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based in Bhoirymbong helped in shifting Marcus Dkhar (29), Donika Trai (30) and Romeo Umiap (30) to Bhoirymbong CHC and then to Shillong Civil Hospital.
